Failure to adequately address the risks and satisfy auditors will result in more stalled virtualization initiatives, more “material deficiencies” discovered during audits, and more compromised virtual environments. While VMware’s platform fulfills a major requirement for enterprise-class virtualization, it falls short of addressing the security and compliance requirements that have begun materializing as organizations accelerate their virtualization adoption plans.

HyTrust is a Mountain View, California-based company that is revolutionizing the way the industry meets the emerging challenges associated with hypervisor access control and management. HyTrust’s signature product is the HyTrust Appliance (HTA), a network-based policy management solution for virtual infrastructure that provides administrative access control, hypervisor hardening, infrastructure policy enforcement and audit-quality logging. • Qualify the prospect’s technical requirements and work with sales to build a compelling business case for HTA.
  • Create the conditions for prospects to complete a successful proof of concept (POC). This includes reaching consensus on criteria for a successful POC, helping prospects configure HTA in their environment, trouble-shooting issues and demonstrating HTA capabilities.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers
  • Must exhibit general management style of sale while running a coordinated campaign within all entities of HyTrust.
  • Assist marketing and product management in developing the market and collateral that will enable HyTrust to position and sell a solution that prospects will consume.
