Sr. Manager, Marketing and Sales Operations

Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, the marketing and Sales operations manager will oversee the marketing automation process (including Salesforce.com and Marketo) including lead management, lead definitions, scoring, distribution etc in conjunction with the sales team.

This role will also manage the development and enhancement of the prospect and client databases using the marketing/sales automation systems, including the execution and tracking of the lead nurturing programs and processes plus providing lead flow training to the sales team. This position will also be the central owner of sales & marketing research tools and give recommendations of the tools needed to gather sales and market intelligence as well as train sales and marketing end users.

This role works with the corporate marketing team to develop metrics, lead capture rates and offer testing on the website. The status of the metrics and results will be communicated to sales and marketing representatives via regular meetings.

Responsibilities for this position include executing segmented and targeted lead generation programs, optimizing Salesforce.com to support our business workflow and sales needs, and working closely with the sales team to help create an extraordinary level of alignment between marketing and sales.

This position will also manage with external agencies for SEO/SEM and other online marketing initiatives, and share joint responsibility for the content management system including design, tagging for search, posting new files and content, tracking usage, organization of the content in general, and ongoing maintenance.

And finally, the role will define and implement our strategy for overall marketing and sales analytics and dashboards/reports. This position has a broad scope and offers the ability to make a significant impact to overall company performance.

We're looking for a senior level can-do attitude, high energy team player who can define what needs to be done and then execute in an environment characterized by intensity, speed, collaboration and excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Track ROI of field marketing activities (leads, awareness, client touch points, sales training, etc.) to ensure effectiveness and continued investment.
  • Provide leadership in the use of Marketo. Be a "power user" and go to person for the rest of the company.
  • Develop and implement strategy for ongoing control, maintenance and enhancement of existing marketing database (Marketo): process, standards, access control, documentation, etc.
  • Ensure accurate synchronization between Marketo and Salesforce.com databases.
  • Manage Salesforce.com to support territory mapping, marketing to sales SLA's, and train the sales team on proper usage and data entry.
  • Segment and leverage the Marketing Database for greater campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Define business analytics and create dashboards and reports to measure all aspects of our business: database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution, overall business performance.
  • Provide leadership in defining, mapping and documenting key marketing processes.
  • Work closely with the leadership team, regional sales leaders and field organization to develop sales communication programs to reach sales team throughout the world.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Solution Marketing and Product Marketing to develop ongoing training, to include new hire onboarding, product and solution refreshers, and outselling the competition. These programs aim to produce highly effective sales staff and constantly address changing customer challenges and the changing competitive landscape.

  • 5+ years marketing experience in the technology industry

    Principal Product Manager

    HyTrust is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to both contribute to overall portfolio strategy and drive the product strategy and roadmap for HyTrust CloudControl.  This role requires extensive interaction with both the field Sales force and Engineering, including presenting the roadmap, collecting requirements and requests from customers, scoping and defining releases, and working with Engineering throughout the release cycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Define and maintain product roadmap for the CloudControl product
    • Contribute to strategic portfolio strategy
    • Collect, validate, and write user stories, use cases, and requirements; develop PRD; scope & define releases
    • Present roadmap and perform product demos internally and externally (to partners and customers)
    • Be an expert on competitive offerings

    Infrastructure Engineer

    HyTrust is seeking an infrastructure engineer to help support growth, drive automation improvements, and keep things running optimally. The successful candidate must possess a broad set of skills and experience in the infrastructure space, with substantial depth in VMware virtualization. Additionally, they must be self-driven to improve things as they go along, be able to prioritize, and have the experience to recognize the good solutions from the poor.

    Responsibilities
    • Act as consultant to other team members on best practices for virtualization deployments.
    • Troubleshoot problems that arise in corporate infrastructure, from physical layer on up to Guest OS layer.
    • Participate in care and feeding of in-house physical infrastructure.
    • Evangelize operational practices that reduce recurring investments and increase reliability.
    Required Skills and Experience
    • Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience in the systems/networking/virtualization space.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Minimum CCNA Routing and Switching or equivalent certification, CCNP Routing and Switching preferred (CCNA or CCNP Data Center as well a plus).

    • Windows Server operation, troubleshooting, Active Directory operation, DNS+AD integration, forests, domains.

    • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned account's organizational chart, decision-making process and extended business model
    • Develop relationships with key stakeholder and decision-makers
    • Identify virtualization implementation status/plans and virtualization management and security pain points
    • Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts
    • Match the HyTrust Appliance solution to the customer's business needs, challenges, and technical requirements. This includes developing a compelling business impact case to support the sale of the HyTrust Appliance
    Experience Required
    • 8+ years of a proven track record in a related industry (networking, security and/or virtualization solutions) with at least 5-7 years of sales to Fortune 500 accounts
    • Experience in acquiring enterprise accounts for an emerging technology company
    • Experience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that involve coordinating sales executives, field SE's, corporate engineers, corporate marketing and executive management
    • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment
    • General management and start up experience is a plus

    Education/Experience
    • BA/BS degree or higher
    • Minimum of 8 years experience in related software industry with at least 5-7 years in a selling role to Fortune 500 accounts
