    Responsibilities
  • Design and build core components that secure data and management of enterprise-scale servers operating across private and public clouds

    Responsibilities
  • Develop the strategy and design a suite of security challenges that HyTrust products must meet to satisfy the high-security needs of our Fortune 500 and government customers.

Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer

Candidate Profile: HyTrust is seeking an infrastructure engineer to help support growth, drive automation improvements, and keep things running optimally. The successful candidate must possess a broad set of skills and experience in the infrastructure space, with substantial depth in VMware virtualization. Additionally, they must be self-driven to improve things as they go along, be able to prioritize, and have the experience to recognize the good solutions from the poor.

    Responsibilities
  • Act as consultant to other team members on best practices for virtualization deployments.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise in corporate infrastructure, from physical layer on up to Guest OS layer.
  • Participate in care and feeding of in-house physical infrastructure.
  • Evangelize operational practices that reduce recurring investments and increase reliability.
    Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience in the systems/networking/virtualization space.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum CCNA Routing and Switching or equivalent certification, CCNP Routing and Switching preferred (CCNA or CCNP Data Center as well a plus).
  • Expert-level understanding of VMware vSphere and related components, management, deployment best practices, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with KVM desirable.
  • Experience with NAS and SAN storage administration, storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, FC, iSCSI), and hardware. NetApp specific experience strongly desirable.

  • Solid ability to troubleshoot system problems and applications in a blended Linux / Mac OS / Windows environment.

Senior KVM, Xen QA Engineer

Candidate Profile

HyTrust is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help us improve the quality and performance of our award-winning flagship product. HyTrust CloudControl™ provides control, security, and visibility for virtualized infrastructures. We are specifically interested in people who have worked with the virtualization platforms such as KVM, Xen/Xen Desktop, and VMware's vSphere vCenter and NSX.

This position will include validating product features and functionality by building test environments as needed in collaboration with development engineers investigate and capture bug information, and verify fixes. Candidate must have experience in installation, configuration and administration cloud environments such as KVM, Xen/Xen Desktop, and various networking topologies.

    Responsibilities
  • Install and configure KVM, Xen/Xen Desktop, and OpenStack products.
  • Develop a deep understand of our product and typical usage.
  • Develop and document test plans and test cases for testing HyTrust Appliance with KVM, XEN, and other virtualization products.
  • Execute tests and record results during release cycles.
  • Investigate and report defects in bug reports.
  • Work with development engineers to drive issues to resolution and closure.

  • Ability to work with all levels of individuals, has sold and upsold to the C suite routinely
  • Must be independent, self-motivated and success-driven; yet willing to work within a team environment
  • Proven track record of developing new markets (i.e. hunter) and quota over-achievement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Dynamic presenter with the ability to translate technical thoughts to everyday language
    Education/Experience
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in related software industry with at least 5-7 years in a selling role to Fortune 500 accounts
