Technical Account Manager

Description:

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will work with assigned clients and partners acting as the primary liaison into HyTrust. TAMs consult closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction and ROI with the HyTrust solutions. This position will provide email, telephone, web and potentially onsite support to new and existing customers from design, deployment, integration, live testing, training and continuous support.

The ideal candidate must be familiar with a Tier 3 support model and understand how to manage strategic accounts. The TAM will utilize their exceptional communication and people skills to build solid relationships with each assigned customer and gain insight into their business requirements.

The TAM's goal is to resolve technical issues and provide timely resolutions to each reported incident. In addition, you will work with a very talented team that continually strives to learn, educate, and improve the customer experience. The candidate must be able to work without supervision, foster teamwork, be calm under pressure and have the technical aptitude to work in enterprise production environments. In this role, you will lead the support team through the most difficult cases, reproduce the problem and work with the necessary quality assurance and engineering resources to provide a successful resolution while maintaining Service Level Agreements.

Successful TAMs are customer advocates who enjoy helping people, have excellent time management and prioritization skills, and are natural problem solvers.
This position is based on the east coast; however, other US locations will be considered if required skills are exceptionally strong.

Responsibilities

Director of Product Marketing

HyTrust is seeking a director of product marketing to join our marketing team. In this role, they will be responsible for defining marketing strategy and go-to-market execution for the HyTrust portfolio of products and solutions, including positioning, messaging, and promotion. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to create content and sales enablement tools that highlight the benefits of HyTrust products and solutions. They'll understand the competitive landscape and become a subject matter expert on cloud, virtualization and security and be able to articulate the HyTrust value proposition to enterprise prospects, sales, partners and analysts. Strong outbound focused marketing and technical aptitude are a must and an ability to persuasively communicate technical content will be critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop positioning and messaging platforms for products, solutions, summarize multiple messages for different personas into a higher-level story and graphically represent these messages
  • Develop campaign strategies for HyTrust products and solutions
  • Work closely with product management and engineering to understand and translate technical and product features to business benefits and value proposition
  • Drive new product launches including creation of plan and content
  • Collaborate with business development to create joint partner marketing materials, including training content, positioning for partner sales teams, and joint customer facing collateral

Required:

Principal Product Manager

HyTrust is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to both contribute to overall portfolio strategy and drive the product strategy and roadmap for HyTrust CloudControl.  This role requires extensive interaction with both the field Sales force and Engineering, including presenting the roadmap, collecting requirements and requests from customers, scoping and defining releases, and working with Engineering throughout the release cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain product roadmap for the CloudControl product

Consulting Architect

The Job:

As a Consulting Architect (CA), you will provide architecture, design and implementation services and support for HyTrust enterprise customers. The CA will work with the customer to understand business requirements, scope appropriate services, and deliver services projects. Senior UI Engineer

HyTrust is seeking a Senior User Interface Engineer to lead the technical vision and execution of the customer experience across two of our flagship products. We are looking for a motivated leader who can take on the challenge to upgrade and unify the UI technology stack across our product portfolio.

The HyTrust product suite provides control and visibility for virtualized infrastructures as well as encryption and key management capabilities for cloud-hosted virtual machines and data.

What you will do:
  • Change the engine of an airborne plane - Upgrade the UI stack from a template-based, server-side, html generation framework, to a client-side Javascript-based, single page application, paving the way for dynamic interactions, and enforcing a strict separation between the GUI and back-end.
  • Create a single pane of glass - Create a unified UI framework to support a scalable, infrastructure product for virtual environment configuration, automation, security, and policy management. Unify the legacy interfaces variously developed in Django+Python and server-side Wicket-based framework under a common, modern framework.

Senior QA Engineer

HyTrust is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help improve the quality and performance of its award-winning flagship product, HyTrust CloudControl. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on experience on one or more virtualization platforms, an understanding of the ecosystem in large customer environments, and an instinct for uncovering quality, usability and performance issues.

The HyTrust product suite provides control and visibility for virtualized infrastructures as well as encryption and key management capabilities for cloud-hosted virtual machines and data.

What you will do:
  • Learn - Develop a deep understanding of the product and its usage by our customers.
  • Develop - Develop and document test plans and test cases; Develop and enhance automated tests
  • Test - Install and configure HyTrust and other products on a variety of virtualization platforms (VMWare, OpenStack, …) ; Regularly execute tests and record results during release cycles
  • Collaborate - Work with development engineers to drive issues to resolution and closure;  Work with the field support organization to investigate customer escalations. Perform root-cause analysis of problems and isolate issues.

What you will need:

Infrastructure Engineer

HyTrust is seeking an infrastructure engineer to help support growth, drive automation improvements, and keep things running optimally. The successful candidate must possess a broad set of skills and experience in the infrastructure space, with substantial depth in VMware virtualization. Additionally, they must be self-driven to improve things as they go along, be able to prioritize, and have the experience to recognize the good solutions from the poor.

Responsibilities
  • Act as consultant to other team members on best practices for virtualization deployments.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise in corporate infrastructure, from physical layer on up to Guest OS layer.
  • Participate in care and feeding of in-house physical infrastructure.
  • Evangelize operational practices that reduce recurring investments and increase reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience in the systems/networking/virtualization space.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum CCNA Routing and Switching or equivalent certification, CCNP Routing and Switching preferred (CCNA or CCNP Data Center as well a plus).
  • Expert-level understanding of VMware vSphere and related components, management, deployment best practices, and troubleshooting.

Inside Sales Representative

HyTrust is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our marketing team. As a member of the marketing team at HyTrust, the ISR will not just be expected to "make calls", but also be an integral member of the marketing team focused on driving engagement to create sales opportunities. The successful candidate will actively engage prospects to qualify marketing leads for our growing sales team. Through a combination of warm inbound response and outbound campaign prospecting, the ISR will help drive the growth of new pipeline opportunities. They'll also have the opportunity to travel to regional events and engage with prospects face-to-face to qualify for follow-up. The role will rely on both digital and telephone communications to position HyTrust products and services to prospects worldwide.

The ISR will become technically conversant on cloud, security and virtualization and excel at explaining how HyTrust addresses cloud security challenges with early stage prospects. Their success at engaging early stage prospects will maximize the rate of conversion of inquiries into real opportunities. They'll have the opportunity to work closely with account teams as qualified leads become won opportunities. Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

HyTrust is seeking Pre-Sales Systems Engineers to help support the expanding sales team in the West, Midwest and NY territories. The successful candidate must possess a broad set of skills and experience in the security and infrastructure space. Additionally, they must be self-driven to improve things as they go along, be able to prioritize, and have a strong track record closing large opportunities with Global 2000 customers.

What you'll do
  • Become the trusted advisor to prospective customers for HyTrust and partner products
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Provide compelling presentations and demos of the HyTrust solutions
  • Qualify and drive successful proof-of-concepts while eliminating any roadblocks along the way
  • Maintain frequent communication with the individual sales team and management
What you'll need
  • 5+ years of a proven track record in a related industry (enterprise security, virtualization, identity management, or SIEM solutions) selling to Global 2000
  • Superior knowledge of current and emerging private and public cloud architectures (VMware, KVM/OpenStack, AWS, Azure)
  • Installation/configuration of virtual infrastructures, firewalls, networking (Cisco Nexus and VMware NSX), security, and identity management
  • Installation/configuration of SIEMs and log collectors (McAfee ESM, ArcSight, Splunk, Log Insight)
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization and capable of articulating and demonstrating the important role security plays in a virtualized environment
  • Proficient with Key Management and Encryption Solutions
  • Proficient with Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and standards bodies (PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST)
  • Ability to translate technical features into tangible customer business benefits
  • Preparation and delivery of technical product and architecture presentations
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Dynamic presenter with the ability to translate technical thoughts into everyday language
  • BS in CS or other technical degree or equivalent experience

The Strategic Account Manager is an executive sales position responsible for external sales within a defined set of Fortune 500 accounts. Candidates will be required to
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned account's organizational chart, decision-making process and extended business model
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholder and decision-makers
  • Identify virtualization implementation status/plans and virtualization management and security pain points
  • Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts
  • Match the HyTrust Appliance solution to the customer's business needs, challenges, and technical requirements. This includes developing a compelling business impact case to support the sale of the HyTrust Appliance
Experience Required
  • 8+ years of a proven track record in a related industry (networking, security and/or virtualization solutions) with at least 5-7 years of sales to Fortune 500 accounts
  • Experience in acquiring enterprise accounts for an emerging technology company
  • Experience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that involve coordinating sales executives, field SE's, corporate engineers, corporate marketing and executive management
  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment
  • General management and start up experience is a plus
