Java Server Software Engineer

Candidate Profile:

HyTrust is looking for a Java Engineer with a background in enterprise application development. This is an ideal position for a creative self-starter, able to learn new technologies and skills quickly, and play a significant role in developing new generation of cutting edge products. The successful person will have a track record of success in enterprise application development, strong problem solving skills, ability to understand business requirements and translate them into solid code, and be proactive and willing to go the extra mile to get things done. Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic and fast paced startup environment is highly desirable.

Required experience:

• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong Java skills, with at least 3 years of enterprise-level Java development
• Solid SQL and database skills, experience with common database frameworks such as Hibernate
• Knowledge of common application frameworks, such as Spring, Struts, etc.
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Experience with modern software development processes: agile development, unit testing, source control, build tools, etc.

Desired skills and experience:

• Virtualization and/or security background
• Dynamic web 2.0 GUI design, AJAX, UI frameworks
• Distributed policy management experience
• Web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, etc)

Platforms Software Engineer

Candidate Profile:

HyTrust is looking for a Platforms Software Engineer. Must possess ability to invent cutting-edge products in a rewarding startup environment, develop new capabilities for Linux-based security appliance for virtual infrastructure, and contribute to system- and application-level development projects.

Required experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Strong C/C++ skills
• Strong interest in and experience with Linux platforms, including RedHat/CentOS

Desired skills and experience:

• Java programming
• Familiarity with Perl, Python, other scripting languages
• Security, networking, storage knowledge
• Experience contributing to public open source software projects is strongly desired
• Startup experience, ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment

Corporate Systems Engineer

Candidate Profile:

The Corporate Systems Engineer will be a proactive member of the Sales Team, providing the technical knowledge and consultative skills required to effectively support the sales effort and help with customer needs. Ideal candidates must have a proven track record of recent success as a hands-on Systems Engineer in the virtualization, systems management or security industry. Strong problem solving skills are a must, with the ability to assess problems and determine an effective course of action. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and capable of working without direct supervision while ensuring management goals are met. Travel is required.

Required experience:

• BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent, with 10+ years industry related experience.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experienced managing RFPs/RFIs without support.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with high-level executives.
• Ability to quickly gain technical credibility with large audiences.
• Technically competent in both Linux and Windows environments

Inside Sales Representative

Candidate Profile:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for researching, cold calling, qualifying and closing sales prospects for HyTrust products and services in enterprise accounts. The Inside Sales Representative will work as a member of the sales team to close opportunities and to help maximize customer satisfaction.

Required experience:

• Minimum of three to five years experience as an Inside Sales Representative selling Enterprise Infrastructure Systems and/or Software.
• Direct and indirect sales experience.
• Strong prospecting skills and drive for results.
• Ability to articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and secure long-term commitments.
• Exposed to extensive sales training.
• Skilled in thinking strategically and tactically.
• Ability to compose complex proposals and accurate forecasts.
• Great relationship skills, tenacity, resilience and inter-personal/presentation skills.
• Experience, credibility, and presence that enables you to work effectively at all levels within very large and complex organizations.
• Experience with selling virtualization, security or systems management solutions.
• Previous startup experience.
