Rebecca Bace

Vice President at In-Q-Tel

Rebecca is currently Vice President CyberInitiatives at In-Q-Tel. She is an internationally recognized expert in the area of computer system intrusion detection and network security.

She has over twenty years experience in computer software and systems, fifteen of those in computer and network security. She spent twelve years at the National Security Agency (1984-1996), where she built the Agency's intrusion detection research program, earning the Agency's Distinguished Leadership Award for that accomplishment.

Upon leaving NSA, she went to the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she served as the deputy security officer for the Computing Division. In 1998, she started Infidel, Inc., a network security consulting firm that serves a wide variety of commercial customers.

Jeff Williams

Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Jeff brings to HyTrust a wealth of experience building successful sales organizations for innovative start-ups and leading information technology companies. He is currently Vice President of Sales and Business Development at FireEye.

Prior to joining, he was Global Vice President of Sales for Innovative Technologies at Cisco. Before Cisco, Williams managed sales for IronPort, a provider of email security, web security and security management appliances, generating hundreds of millions in revenue and creating the foundation for IronPortÕs $830M acquisition by Cisco. Prior to his tenure at IronPort, Jeff was Vice President of Sales at IntruVert Networks,

a developer of intrusion detection and prevention systems, which was acquired by McAfee, Vice President of Sales at Abeona Networks, a Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital funded company, and Vice President of Sales at GlobalCenter, where he led the sales organization through its $6.5 billion merger with Exodus Communications.

Jeremy Bennett

Software Architect at Aruba Networks

Jeremy has over thirteen years of experience with computer and network security software development. He is currently a Software Architect at Aruba Networks where he leads the development of key projects including the award-winning RFprotect Wireless IPS.

Before joining Aruba Networks he was VP of Engineering at Network Chemistry, the original developers of RFprotect which was acquired by Aruba Networks. At Symantec Jeremy led the design and architecture the companyÕs intrusion detection and prevention products including Symantec Network IPS and Symantec Deception Server. His solutions were also included in gateways, firewalls, and the entire suite of Norton security products. Prior to Symantec, Jeremy was an architect and manager

for Recourse Technologies, a leader in the gigabit IPS movement, which was acquired by Symantec in 2002. At Recourse, he played a key role in the birth and development of Recourse's products. Jeremy has held management, architecture, and development positions at companies like Hewlett-Packard and Sega.com. He earned a degree, in computer science, with honors from the University of Michigan.

Vikram Makhija

Director of R&D at VMware

Vikram has over thirteen years of engineering and management experience in the systems software industry.

For the past several years, he has been working on virtualization products as Director of R&D at VMware and has been involved in various releases of their flagship products. Prior to joining VMware, he was part of a select technical team

at Oracle working on optimizing their core database product. Vikram holds a Bachelors degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, a Masters from Stanford University and currently has two pending patents.
